implantbDental Implants

Dental implant is an artificial medical grade titanium screw that replace the root of a missing tooth. In most cases after the placement of the implants, there will be an average of 3 months waiting period, allowing the bone to form around the threads of the titanium screw(dental implant). Then a post will be attached to the implant, on top of which a crown will fabricated. Implants can replace a single missing tooth with a crown, multiple missing teeth with a bridge or, full replacement with a full denture supported by implants.

Bone quality and vital organs like your sinus and nerves, should be evaluated with a special CT scan prior to any implant placement. In our office, and for the last 12 years, we have successfully placed hundreds of dental implants. We use a US made, FDA approved hug quality dental implants.

The research and studies have concluded that, treatment of a lot of conditions is more efficient and easier when the jaws and teeth are developing at a younger age. A two phase treatment will be suggested to resolve the problem, Phase I starts in the mixed dentition stage, to be followed with a full braces at the age of 13 or 14.

Adult orthodontic (braces) could be done in one or combination of the two options bellow:

    what-do-you-need-to-know-about-braces

  1. Conventional Braces: during which brackets are bonded to your teeth, then nickel-titanium, or stainless steel wires will connect theses brackets to move the teeth into their new desired positions according to the treatment plan. Often, a monthly visit is required to change wires, and or change elastic bands.
  2. Two implants installed in the jaw.

  3. Invisalign/ Clear Correct; this technique is used for less involved and complicated cases. A series of clear plastic retainer like appliances called aligners are used to move teeth. Some of the teeth might require a special bonding material (attachments), to engage the aligners in order to move these teeth.

Using the above techniques, we have successfully treated many of our patients and their kids since 2001. Free Braces Consultation is available for you and your kids in our office.
